But on this recording she's just an incidental part. I didn't care for them. I ordered this CD to hear more of Marketa Irglova -- she's great. If you're a fan of the Swell Season and their style, you'll like this.
Their harmonies are always pleasing. A few (a minority).
It's already in the bargain bin. It's a shame they haven't come up with enough new material.
of the songs are new, but the new album is largley a rehash of the first album. If you love them, by the movie on DVD.
They stil sound fine, a lovely blend of voices. But alas, if you have the first album, don't bother with the new one.
They divorced, since the first album, and that probably killed the "spark" that kindles creativity.
Wonderful and sweet CD from a talented duo. Bought this before I went to see these two in concert. Well worth a listen.
A+++ - loved the movie Once, so I bought this CD to get some of that music as well as some new (to me) songs. Glad I did.
